Based on a cover illo of Nausicaa etc, I was trying to suggest the original air of mystery and violence. Somehow the rather absurdly long sword held by Nausicaa was metmorphed into a <i>cricket bat</i>, bringing up (with the flaming scenery behind her) the possibility of a Douglas Adams reference instead.
