The first volume of Stephen King's Dark Tower series was not just in introduction for me to his work itself, but to the serial novel. A novel derived of some head space and yet grounded with the convincing of people's convictions and emotions through these wildly sprung events. I really loved it, and I'm on The Waste Lands right now. Sorry for the brightness of the scan. I should use some better depth perception methods in the future. Most of these works are over a year old, though, so hopefully I've picked some things up.
