Not that you colored it wrong, but an alternative would be to make their whole foot pink (top and bottom), or make up to their hip joint pink: the whole leg.
Like I said, this is totally up to you if you wanted to change it, I'm just suggesting a different manner of stylization. ^^; They're really cute!
