Named after the storyteller in “Arabian Nights”.

I had put this character on hold because I trouble drawing birds. I’m not at the lever I want to be with birds but on well.

Scheherezade is a pivotal character in my story because she’s nearly omnipotent. She knows everything that goes on in the animal kingdom as well as have the power of clairvoyance. Owls are considered valuable creatures because of these traits.

The markings on her head and wings are nomadic tribal markings. Yes…it was Scheherezade that led the runaway Friday into the city to hide. Nobody knows why she came to the royal city but she has plays a larger role in Alice’s quest to find her way home as well as stop King Lionel for exterminating all non-albino animals.

I named her this name because Scheherezade never gives a straight answer. She always speaks and riddles and anecdotes as if she storytelling herself. It’s a custom of all owls to speak in riddles in order to stay covert from spies.

But yeah…I have a barn owl character now.
