NOTE:
Just because you do not see something on my price sheet does not mean I don't make it! Send me a note about what chain/item/etc you're looking for, and I can get you a quote. :)
Dice Bags:
Make it a Fatty! Option details
- Like a size, but wish it was a little wider? No problem. For a flat fee, I'll add an extra panel into the width and make it a pudge! :)
Inlays
- Inlays are designs in the bag. If they aren't super complex, I don't charge much extra. But if I need to design a complicated image into the maille, please expect to pay $5-15 extra.
All prices are in USD.
All prices are a base/starting price based around anodized aluminum rings. For other materials I require quotes due to ever-changing metal prices. Yes, I will work in precious metals!
Payments are due upfront through paypal. Please see my Commission TOS for more details.

It's hard to do! A lot of people don't understand the sheer amount of time and effort that goes into it, and they see the price and shy away. :S
I'm tempted to start taking photos of the jumbled pile of rings a project takes, and doing a before and after of the project (so, a picture of the pile of rings, and then a picture of the finished piece) side by side. :S Then maybe some folks would get it.
But no matter what, make sure you're at least getting minimum wage for your time, plus supplies. :) More is good, but that should be the -absolute- bare minimum.

Oh I completely agree. That'd be fun, maybe we could get other maillers to do it too! Post lots of, "THIS USED TO BE THIS PILE OF RANDOMNESS" photos xD
I had to develop a new mantra while pricing: I will not be guilty about my prices. :) I mean, these things take some serious time!

It definitely might be something to try out. Then people might appreciate the art more, instead of thinking of it as a piece of metal junk.
I know! It's so hard. X_X I still feel guilty when I price things, but I know what I have to do. If you need to live on the earnings of this stuff, then you have to price it right.

I've been going out of my comfort zone and trying lots of things I've never done before--scalemail was tough to figure out! And it seems to take forever to get any sort of solidity.I mean don't get me wrong, chainstuff is fun as heck! It's just... really time consuming, heh heh... xD
I'd totally be up for makin' this kinda statement, yep yep yep!
