My half of an art trade between myself and inferorumcanis @ dA. He has an FA under the same name but he doesn't use it much.
This is his golden eagle gryphon character, VII.
Sketched in pencil, inked with faber castell india ink pen. Some details were added to the face with coffee (complete with grinds!) before I scanned and colored it up in SAI.
Background texture is mine; I made it with many layers of very strong coffee on a sheet of watercolor paper! I think it turned out pretty nice.
