There's quite a number of contradictions in there

Er.. there are? Like what?

Here's one of them:

"Sometimes I wonder if I'll always be sexually frustrated,
because most of what turns me on doesn't exist in real life"

Contradicts:

"I can't imagine how sex with anyone could be
better than the sex I have with my boyfriend."

As well as the fact you've listed a number of real life equivalents that do exist that you've said you fancy, but that can be overlooked since you said "most of what turns me on," not "all"

I don't really see that as a contradiction. When I say "sex with anyone" I mean "anyone in real life." I guess that's not as obvious as I assumed. Thanks for pointing it out. :)

I do kind of have an observation about the "Whenever I'm attracted to another woman, I always wish I were male.", and it's JUST an observation. (: Maybe it's because it 'lessens' your feeling of guilt, or you want the dominant aspect of the possible relationship. ^-^

Those were just my first thoughts. ^^

Heh, it's definitely the latter. I don't have any feelings of guilt about it, but I do want to be the dominant one, and it just doesn't seem like it would be as fulfilling unless I were a guy. Thank you very much for the comment.

The way I see it, a good artist is a good artist. I overlook their personal views for the most part, unless they're actually extremely insulting to someone.

I can so relate to a lot of this, -seriously-. Especially being controlled only during sex and words on the internet really hurting. I don't care what anyone says, when someone says something shitty to you, no matter who it's from, it's painful. I like how a lot of these are about sex, because people's different attitudes toward sex always fascinate me.

Wow there are a few things here I'm like "... ewrgh" about(violence, notably, is the ultimate turnoff and disgust trigger to me), but they're definitely outnumbered by the sheer amount of points I wholeheartedly agree on.

Like what you say about thinking you could be a great artist, animals having souls, sexual frustration, body weight (that damn pudge), insults on the internet, getting attached too easily (not the opposite though)... and perfectly mutual polyamory being the ideal relationship.

Two things though! One, why *would* you be naked in front of anyone but your boyfriend? Also, you say you don't give people who lack self-confidence much regard, yet when I posted a journal *exactly* about that you were the first to answer. Methinks you're underestimating your compassion here.

But before posting this, I feel obligated to point out there is one thing you said here that shakes me to the very bottom of my soul, and knowing myself I know I'm going to spend the next three hours blankly staring at the computer screen and wondering what I should think of it at all.

Hmm.. perhaps I mis-worded it. I'm not sure how to exactly describe the people to which I don't give the time of day. I'm really disgusted with the people who are so insecure and they feel so sorry for themselves all the time. You're different - you lack self-confidence in your artwork, but you know what the problem is, how to fix it, and above all you don't feel sorry for yourself because of it. I know that everyone will lack self-confidence sometimes, but there's definitely two ways in which one can do it, and one is more positive than the other.

And.. what is it here that causes you so much distress? D:

Oh.. forgot to mention, that I could be naked in front of someone for any number of reasons.. I might want to do art modelling someday or something innocent like that. Or we might want to have a threesome at some point. Or, considering we are in an open relationship, any type of sexual situation. It doesn't really matter, I just wish I weren't so self-conscious :(
