Hello there everyone! After much debate with myself and not having time, I have finally been able to get something typed up! Now this is just a simple short story that could be used as a prologue for a story, well that's what one of my friends think. And I would love to hear your input on it and get everyone's opinion on it.
He just stood there. His tail slowly swaying behind him as he stood at the edge of the platform. The dark station was engulfed by the light of the raising sun. A sigh escaped the young husky as he picked up the small bag by his feet. The morning breeze cut through him as a small gust of a frozen breath escaped him.
"Come on..." He said as he started to jog in pace to keep warm. Maybe wearing a short sleeve shirt and a pair of ripped jeans wasn't the best idea, but he didn't have the time to find something warmer without being late. Pulling a small watch from his pocket, he checked the time. 6:45 AM. Five more minutes... He thought to himself as he looked left and right before checking his bag for everything he needed. He heard a horn go off and that caught his attention. It was coming. His tail slowly started to wag as he saw the light of his train come closer. As it came to a slow stop in front of him, the husky took a look back at the fields that he call, no, called home. As he handed the only other passenger on the train, the conductor, the money he owed him, he took a seat just behind the conductor as the train slowly came to life and push forward. The husky looked back with a small tear rolling through his fur as he said what he needed to with his actions.
Goodbye...
