Just a little design I've worked up for an upcoming cel project. I'm thinking about doing this one as a miniature cel painting...if I can get my hand to draw that small.

Heh, you'd be surprised just how fast it went...probably an hour total on the feathers, just over an hour on the whole thing on an 8.5x11 sheet. I'm much faster than I used to be and those feather were pretty easy for me. Koh-I-Noors of course. I'm a slave to those pens now and they are harsh masters!
I think the cel painting part of this is going to be much more different and probably more trouble than the paper. It didn't take all that long. Actually I'm thinking about doing the feather detail in "white" ink when I cel it, though I will see how it looks digitally first. If I do it as a small cel...it'll be even worse to do! Waaa! I must love to suffer. Mmmm yesssss.
