The boys enjoying one of their favorite pastimes laying on the couch chewing on deer antlers. Bishop for once though decided he wanted to lay partially unscrunched... in the middle of the couch. Clovis doing his best to get comfortable later gives up and get's into... my chair. *sigh* Danm mutts
(Note: if your dog has a chewing problem antlers will solve it or at least take the edge off. They will last longer than hooves, pig ears, bully sticks and your house. Plus they're shed so the deer gets to live. Do not buy from feed stores they're expensive short and dried out so they wont last long. Either make friends with hunters or note me and I'll send you good links for etsy)

I kind of liked the chewing. I understood he wasn't trying to hurt me and that made the difference between scary and rough housing.
The peeing... that wasn't so cool, but it was a matter of us not being able to communicate. I knew he wanted something. He didn't respond to the training pad and pretty much the only other requests I knew were up or down from the bed or "let's play", so... Yeah, he wanted to go outside.
I miss seeing him run around and be all "I'm on the bed and being cute" and generally just being a dog. Being a dog has its own merits.
I didn't like not being a good source of training, but I remember liking him.
