I stared into the bright heterochromic eyes smiling at the emotion sparkling in them. He was beautiful even if he didn't believe it himself. I'd never have chosen another. I brushed a hand against his face feeling a bit of heat flush under his skin where my fingers had pushed through the fur. He always seemed a bit shy when I touched him like this, when I caressed his face. No matter how many times I told him I loved him I never felt as if he didn’t need to hear it.
“You’re beautiful, Lucas, my precious flower.” I whispered as I moved my lips to his neck knowing it’d make him shiver with need. It’d been awhile since I’d touched him like this. I knew he wanted me and I’d denied him for long enough. I wanted to let enough time pass, make sure his emotions were stable surrounding the time after the court case and Melissa’s outing. I wanted to make sure the intimacy between us was unclouded by outside issues just like the first time.
“You always know just how to turn me on don’t you. It’s been a long time since you’ve let your voice grow heavy with that accent. You whisper my name and it falls like silk from your lips. Those emeralds sparkle with an emotion I’ll never fully understand but one I never want to see leave your face. I still think I’m like the moon, but for you, I’ll gladly be the sun’s flower.
