And believe me, brother, I was at the exact target age at the peak of it's popularity.
I just never got into the whole "kid with extraordinary abilities does extraordinary things over the course of like a bajillion friggin' pages" young adult fiction craze.
Also, to be fair, I do recall seeing some AF fanart that a extremely well done; wish I remembered who the artist was.
