Of that book I liked your story the best. Thought it was the best illustrated. Don't know, it all was nice, but kept coming back to your take on them as anthro. I like your more rounded looking design style.

Thanks. I did end up tweaking the look a bit for recent projects though. I wasn't always happy with what I had. Hopefully the new stuff looks even better.

Since when has that been a problem here? You can search for "Pinkie Pie" here and get loads of stuff, or is the artist planning to sell this?

You asked, I'm answering. They put together a publication and sold it in a large number, a bit different from just drawing and posting online. Though, TECHNICALLY, all the Pinkie Pie pictures posted on FA are, under the law, a violation of copyrights to an extent. It really depends on if Hasbro chooses to enforce it on small fandoms (which they do do from time to time).

actually yes, because then the publishers of the book that this story appeared in can claim it is an act of parody and not a 100% direct rip off.

Accents are really difficult to write out phonetically without making the dialogue unreadable. Examples of how to do it right: the entire literary canon of Mark Twain. Examples of how to do it wrong: the entire literary canon of H. P. Lovecraft.
