Jeff drew this picture of Fred and me with out child a few months ago and I immediately started colouring it in. As is my bad habit, I got distracted by other things and put it aside for a while. Then I saw a mother playing with her baby while on the bus. It was such a sweet scene... one I will never get to live with my mate, Fred. It's already cruel enough to fall in love with someone so deeply and not being able to create life with them as many other couples do, and who take it so much for granted. But that is the law of nature. Yet it is even worse when you have other people deliberately keeping couples from experiencing these joys, just because they are of the same sex. Here's wishing that laws could be reformed to give us a reason to hope that maybe, some day, our dreams can come true. I love you Fred.
