'...First after all the Tree is a place of peace, not hunting, no fighting, whatsoever. You do not need to be a certain being to become one with the tree, what counts is your heart, the heart of your soul. It is a deep uderstanding of the Life and all living beings that are willing to live in a rather alive environment... It's a world to be individual, to have found your real self and enjoy the life, not to be greedy in whatever way, not to classify living being into better and not better for whatever reason...because every life is equal. From the littlest bacteria to the mightiest beings. Every one has the same importance... Every living being has it's own individual soul, and who can say for sure that a stone can't have a soul? Maybe it doesn't have one, but it can't be said for sure, at least it's part of the Life.'

That's how this piece was described to me from  RakurRykaran , what the piece should represent. This is one of the most challenging pieces I've tackled to date, and I'm really happy with how it turned out - I learned a lot about painting and textures in general, and I think it turned out beautifully. And yes, that IS a Rykaran up there at the top of the tree! But Rykaran isn't little...the tree is that huge! (Those little white speckles here and there? Birds.)

Might make some changes to this as Rykaran sees fit. Secretly streamed the finishing touches of this with FellAngelSerenity.
