This one was Fun! Came together really fast, and was done in 5 hours (me thinks), One thumbnail, one try, and no train wrecks (though a close call or two). Tried something different with this one, its almost all charcoal, except parts of the fur. I usually start with the eyes and work out, but for some reason my hands had a different idea and started at the bottom right and work up the surface (Not smart with charcoal and being a right paw). This one was done with HB (Hard), 2B (Med), and 4B (Soft) charcoal pencils, 2H, and 2B Staedler Lumographs. The usual Eraser Stick, and Kneaded Eraser on Bristol.
Media: Graphite and Charcoal on Bristol Paper
Size: 8"x10"

I don't know...
As I only have access to "General's" brand charcoal pencils (Its all my art store carries). I actually like the General's carbon pencil I have, its very black and smoother then the charcoal. So, General's is what I use, but I don not have enough information to prefer any other brand. I am an art supply snob, as you get what you pay for with art supplies 95% of the time.
