Hm. Show's (and character's) creator... or the first time writer for the show, who has gone on to write two of the least popular episodes of Season 3.
Hm. Now, that sure is a hard choice to make on who's opinion I consider more valuable on Rainbow Dash's character.
Oh yeah, and let alone the episode itself, where Dash begrudgingly looks after Scoot, but based on her personality would likely have forgotten Scoot existed without 30 minutes of getting back to Ponyville.
So, yeah. Just because lots of bronies are stupid and like crying and doing the whole: "Orphan Scootaloo being adopted by Dash" and reading WAAAAAY too much into this relationship, doesn't make it so. Tough luck for them. The rest of us just kinda sigh and ignore them.
