Just a little. New Dante pretty much devolved into a snub; maybe it stared out as a dignified change, but that really fell through.

I really don't care since Ninja Theory only did it to try and lure in a different crowd. I really don't care much for DmC. I'm happier with the previous ones. C:

Yeh, kinda. There's nothing inherently -wrong- with a new Dante, it's just that it ended up feeling like they did it just to shit on people. No bueno. :<

I have nothing against with a new Dante.

And they did it for political tactics on lure in more customers to buy it. Which they did.

well... technically (dont wanna fight)... the new dante IS an older teenager at best.. his life sucks and he has no care for humanity beucase he has no drive or goals... he starts out as a punk with a potty mouth and no dignity..but by the end of the game (and his white hair)... hes sorta grown up and matured as a person (subtly) while his brother goes further in a downward spiral into being the new villain..

do i think the dante is an annoying emo prink... TOTALLY ... but that's because hes supposed to be...


do i think he grows up to be the old classic dante in DMC-3... TOO 1... TOO 4... TOO 2.... TOTALLY!! honestly, think about dante from the very first game. In the intro, he even explains about how he had powers when he was a child and how everything was wripped away from him.. and how he lost a mother and brother to the demon Mundus...

plus.. his devil trigger (though weird) sorta makes sence... hes now turning into a demon, hes just getting a little bit of a glimpse at the power he takes hold of that turns his hair white and makes him in the bad ass that he soon becomes


so yes,.. your totallly right, punk dante is annoying little emo crybaby... but its totaly nessisary to explain his beginings as a person a story to the fans

(everybody loves a good actor...but a good actor isn't good at acting when hes starting out in grade school )

actually Nero isn't a descendant of Sparda, its hinted that he is Vergil's son.

That's... still a descendant of Sparda. o_o

but not a direct descendant. though nobody really knows for sure.

no, I mean nobody really knows if he is a descendant or not. but its hinted at in some novel that he is Vergil's son which wouldn't really match up with the timeline unless Dante and Vergil are alot older than they look.

Either that or I just assume that Vergil raped someone.

Which seems a bit more valid if you think about it.

unless there is a Devil May Cry 5 we'll never know for sure.

Seriously. I saw the vid of him flying stark naked in the air through the trailer. then I suddenly hear he's 16. I died a little on the inside.

I think my heart just broke even more. I mean I was kind of hoping When I first herd the news( before I say the naked trailer) That maybe this game was Dante being younger and that's why his personality sucks so hard along with the hair changes and such.

but really I'm going crazy fan here, I'll never buy that game, it's even worse now with the whole naked pedo trailer ew. He doesn't even look 16 youngest I'd peg him is MAYBE 18 I though he was at least early to mid 20's

Person above's half right--Donte and Vorgil are half-demon and half-angel, cause for whatever reason, Ninja Theory turned Eva into an angel {who, according to one boss, was something of a whore}.

Which makes it hilarious when people say the new DmC makes Dante more human. Dante embraced his humanity, Donte is literally not human at all.

I love the DMC series. The most fun and rewarding stylized combat system in a hack n' slash game with loads of charm to it.

Also nit-pick thing.. why is the new game DmC: Devil May Cry? That means Devil May Cry: Devil May Cry... xD

primary reason i love nero... the voice actor is played by the same person that does BLEACH... DUDE, its freakin ICHIGO!!!... i wanna see more nero but i doubt thats gunna happen

nero does have some good traits around him, so there isn't any real need to just sweep him under the bus yet
