You know, I have often wondered this, because I have seen this a lot. Why is it when people draw the upper fangs to a wolf that is looking directly at the camera, the fangs look like they curve out towards the sides of the mouth?

I'd say that it's 'cause it looks like that in real life, but the closest I found was this. I'm guessing maybe it's for dramatic effect?
