Whenever you hear a rush of salty air;
Just look to the coast and I will be there.

Whenever you a hear the call of a bright sea bird,
And my voice is a distant, inaudible word.
Remember my songs and the words of my heart.
Though distance is miles, our love cannot be torn apart.

Whenever the sand is between your pale toes,
The sand which you hate and is filled with many woes.
Remember my arms that surround you with love
It’s a wave of protection, a gift from above.

Whenever you look at the vast, endless ocean
That is only the beginning of my undying devotion.
The sea it can take, but oh it can give
I am thankful to God that He allowed you to live.

We will meet on the beach for one binding union
Our hearts will unite in a glistening fusion
Though distance, for now, is what we will hate
A future together is what we will await.

And to me, my lovebug, that sounds pretty great.
