FG's Monsters of Silent Hill - The Feral (by James Corck)
In the fog-laden streets of that restless town, there lie many strange beasts from the depths of James Campbell. The FinalGamer carries with him many shades of darkness, from simple arrogance to a most deepening denial, all of which have become manifest as he sees here.
Some things were not meant to be, and one such thing can be an aberration of all sorts of creatures combined into one vile abomination. Stomping through the streets of Silent Hill, an even deeper incarnation comes from James' mind.
With the body and legs of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, the neck of a Brachiosaurus, the dreaded tail of an Ankylosaurus and his own species' wretched claws, he knows it only as the Feral, its head crowned proudly with the crest of a Parasaurolophus. When FG saw these creatures last, they were but fossils to him.
Now...they turn him into their prey.
The feral represents FG's primal mind, unspoken and unheard of from two years past.
So this dreaded beast was a little...interesting. Honestly I'm amazed
jamescorck managed to make it look this terrifying. I didn't emphasise the fact it was originally to have a T-rex's head, but he pulled off the Parasaurolophus look so well, I just couldn't say no.
This was always a pain to really imagine, but somehow an artist can do things better than a writer can. The same can be said of the reverse too but I just can't think of an example other than emotions.
