Was just listening to music late this night to help me relax and try to get some writing done, then had one of my all-time favorites pop up. The lyrics just always tug my heart strings in a certain way, so I got inspired this time to write a poem because of it. For those interested, the song is Alan Jackson's "Remember When". It just gets me thinking on a prophetic level about what I've done in life, so I tried my best to write a poem that reflects how I feel on the subject. Just remember that no matter what occurs in your life, to remember all those special moments that occur in your life. From something as big as High School graduation to something as small as a surprise gift from a friend or loved one. It all matters, and you'll always have someone somewhere that is thinking about you and wants to see you happy.
