I grabbed an opening at a local co-op printing studio and took classes on screen-printing. (1. I took 40 electives in college, including welding, yet I skipped on printing and got burned; 2. over 10 years experience in graphic design and I knew nothing about this particular craft: FAIL)
Overall, the results were fantastic. I have recently joined a co-op to begin producing professional quality screen printed posters of some of my more popular works.
...no t-shirts yet, though. I will need more resources, practice and training. But I am in the right place to get those add-on skills.

I worked in a commercial silk screen shop for five years, putting in one year in the art department and camera room. Your style lends itself well to the medium, and I'm glad you find the technique exciting. Of course, looking at your examples I get the impression the media has changed some in these past twenty years or so.
