She wasn't really a hippie in real life before coming to equestria...she just liked the look cause she didn't care what others thought of her. ;) But yes, hippies will fit in with Equestrians quite well.

Several other humans who walked over to Equestria and lost their clothes in the process (apart from stuff like accessories, such as said glasses and hat) usually have to get some clothes from Rarity or somepony else.

Rarity is the go to pony if you need a dress for something like the Gala.

Not like Daisy Chain will do it. :P She happens to take a lot of refuge in audacity.

If by extreme you mean "walking into the Grand Galloping Gala wearing only your hat and glasses", then yes. XD

and no it's not like ponies are offended by that sorta stuff. Just...that not dressing up is seen as rather weird.
