I'm sure I've said this before, but I got my start in the furry world over on deviantART, a community which the furry world has primarily deserted by now, what with the proliferation of much less commercial, much more furry, much more adult-friendly venues. (It is what it is.)
That doesn't mean awesome people aren't still on dA, though. Nire-chan, who has a furry...ish character named Ewim, is one such example. With a die-hard Subeta and/or other Internet-based virtual pet addiction streak, Ewim occasionally solicits small-scale commissions to help feed her habit. During one such round, three people who tossed her a small sum would get chibi characters drawn up. I got lucky (and was quick on the draw...pun not originally intended).

The result kind of hurts my pancreas, in the good way. YES THERE IS A GOOD WAY
I'm not sure what's up with the chick in the straitjacket, but Terra and the other gal seem to be having a lovely time, being adorbs.

Ewim and I like to geek out about various manga and other Internet-based things which we love. I don't see her all that often these days, but our occasional conversations are punctuated with squees and fanhypothesizing and other such hijinks. The Internet: Part Of You Is Still A 12-Year-Old Girl And We Will Find It.
I kinda miss her, though. Her sense of humor is one-of-a-kind, and she's not short on talent.
