On a happier note I took Rocky aka *new name is not sure yet xD* home today for him to stay <3 He is sooo grateful, he kisses me all the time and won't leave my side. Now for the fist time in almost 8 years he is lying and sleeping on the sofa. Jessy will be a lot harder to integrate in my pack as she does not like other dogs *siiiigh* but we'll manage I am sure ;)
Right now I am just so very, very happy ^__^

She is dead now but I still love the breed.

He sounds like one who very much deserves a proper home. Glad to hear he made it finally, and good to see him with his ears perked! I'm reminded a little more of one of my rescues, shown here suffering the hard life: http://imgur.com/mI8JoDj (And yes, I know his nails are long there.) How old is he now?
*smiles* yes, yes he does, he has gone trough a lot. So much disappointment and his trust got broken more than once but I'll try to keep him save and sound. Oh man, that poor dog, he clearly suffers A LOT on this photo! cruelty!!! haha, very, very cute, love this little grin <3 Mine will be 10 this year, how old is yours?
Yes, his little fangs are cute, and they show often. He also has pretty eyes. http://imgur.com/FO7hCYK I don't know his age for certain, I think he's 5 or 6 now. But he's a happy and silly boy, and pretty gentle--as long as you're not a squirrel.
10 isn't bad, you two should have some time together still. Definitely keep us updated on how he and Jessy are doing. They're lucky you were looking out for them.

Aww, pretty boy! Glad you decided to go to the rescued route. Plenty of purebreds are in rescues, so it upsets me a little when they are always going to a breeder for doggies. You can pretty much any breed, especially in America if you look around. This shepherd boy is adorable though. :3 We had a shep pup at my shelter for a very brief time before he was adopted out. He was the only one that didn't bark or jump like all the other doggies there. Such manners! Hhehe.
hihi now I have my own little wolf :'D I'd always go the rescue route<3 The only dog we ever got from a breeder was our first one, a lovely golden retriever when I was 13 but that was because we had no experience at all and my parents that time wanted to be on the save side. The most amazing and beautifully minded creatures are waiting in the shelters, it breaks my heart to see that so often nobody comes for them. Awwwwh sheppy puppies are so adorable, I am glad that he got adopted quickly :D
Almost all the dogs we owned we got from a breeder except ONE, and she is the most wonderful dog I have ever owned. Two of my dogs are shih tzu poodle mixes which we got from a local breeder, but they are still fantastic and unique, too. I adore them, but I'd rather go the shelter route next time. My parents really wanted something with poodle, and before we adopted them, we were visiting shelters. Small dogs don't last long in shelters. We just didn't find a very fitting one there, so we got Sasha (my mutt) from a newspaper. Then the others when our dachshund passed. (I don't think we got her from a breeder, but she was paper eligible.) I also had neighbors who tried irresponsibly breeding pugs, and almost killed their bitch in the process. (They didn't know much on breeding, and I think they thought they could make some cash with it.) I ended up buying one of them because when they picked me up from school, they said they were taking him and his brother to a pet shop. I was so against it. I picked out a pup that just had SO MUCH personality in him... but out of all of them, the one that has been truest has been the accident mutt from a newspaper listing. x3
