It's armour, a suit... but it has some integration with the wearer. Helps to enhance movement, vision, hearing and the like. Makes him an effective guard-dog. :)

Thank you for answering. ^^ It kinda looks like its fused with your body, that's why I was wondering if it was armor or something that you couldn't take off.
