A gift from indigodreams, a very talented and awesome dragon who drew me an inked sketch, that I applied my new coloring skills to. Of course being a mostly monochrome dragon may help, but it was a lot of fun.

First of all, very nice coloring job.
As for the sword, like dravus said, Adding glimmers and shining areas to te sword in faceted planes and ridges should help with the look of ice. Perhaps even a faint hue over the body of it or the like to hint at being more than just transparent. You had the basic right idea using the blueish lines as the detailing on it.
