It is a sexy car, eh? =3 I just got one of these myself and am loving it.
Though you got the 3.2L version, lucky! I have the 2.7 but it's still a lot more powerful than my pickup truck was, by almost twice the HP. Nice roomy car, huge trunk, sporty look, and very smooth ride~

LOL dude, I just sold my '98 Chevy S-10 regular-cab pickup: That was rear-wheel drive, was a stick shift (eg. not as smooth take-offs as automatics), and had absolutely no weight in the back. Trust me, a full-size car (which is larger in all manners except height) with front-wheel drive and automatic is nothing for hydroplaning compared to that LOL!
Say, where's the fuel pump located on this thing? I had a friend of mine with one of these (A little older I think) and it went up in flames. They said it was the fuel pump... however... from the photo the fire was on the firewall dead center. Opened up the area for the wiper motors and everything.
Not saying this are bad cars, just the opposite in fact. My nieces boyfriend has one of these, he's tried to drive it into the ground and it just keeps going without missing a tick! Nice long intake runners and a good sized V6... and a guy could have fun resculpting the stock bumpers, too.

It gets you from A to B reliably, you want gnarly you should see some of the things I have whipped up. Air filters...
in the fender
Now all we need to do is yank out that 3.2, throw some forged slugs in with some polished rods and rebalance the rotating assembly, have Moon grind a custom bumpstick with as much lift as it can take and about 244 degree duration or maybe a split lobe configuration even if we really wanted to get fun, rifle out the intake runners, port n' polish, knife edge the counter weights on the crankshaft (How could I forget that?) and dump it back in with some custom fabbed tuned headers and true duel exhaust with a balance tube and a couple of intercooled 72 MM turbochargers with alcohol injection in case you wanted to run 20 PSI boost...
Then we throw it back in the body and REALLY SURPRISE some of those kids in their Hondas.

I've always had gleeful thoughts about ripping it down, reinforcing the frame, rigging it up as a rear wheel drive with some clever modification to the floors and then getting some rediculous engine and stuffing it in there while trying to keep a stock appearance and such and really surprising the wannabe rice boiler kids.
That's the fun part.
I had a 1988 Dodge Omni, a sickly looking little thing I got from some parents who took the car from their kid who went a road-ragin' on I-25 and caved in all four corners. Car was still legal or the street but BUTT ugly. They had a lot of potential, even Carol Shelby got his hands on a few. Even stock and in great shape they were fugly. Looked like an AMC Gremlin and a VW Rabbit had a kid. It had a 2.2 four popper but had a little bit of snap. Nothing drastic but it had potential. Turns out with a head, cam, CPU swap and the addition of a turbocharger and you had a potential 12 second drag car.
Could you imagine pulling up next to this http://s261.photobucket.com/albums/.....t=Roadkill.jpg
and then getting completely smoked? You'd either die of embarrassment or die laughing.
I miss that little car.

92 was a good year, nice and lightweight, and a boat load of bolt on parts. You can get 600 HP with just a set of fastburn heads, a FAST intake, MSD ignition, and a stroker kit without even going to a big cam. 600 ponies under your foot is a wild experience. A little frightening... in a good way. Sort of like sex with a violent psychopathic escaped inmate from the women's federal prison.
