Doodled on my lunch break, the actual pictures are pretty dang tiny. barely fit in my palm.
Bonechewer (left) and his brother, Thakur (right) whom is with is their mom (also right). I based their Mom off the coloring of a cat of mine that passed away this passed fall, named Tinkers. I used to call her my Xenomorph cat because she was so tall/long/lithe and when she walked she would sa-shay her tail like a xenomorph. I was very attatched to that cat and her memory brings tears to me eyes, much like the predicament this Mother cat must have felt whenever she had to choose between which cub to keep.
How Bonechewer did not grow up into a bitter spirit is such an inspiration, his spirit was so beautiful for all the trials thrown at him. It also reminds me when I think about Bonechewer and Thakur's past did repeat itself, through Thistle Chaser and her siblings.
I have always wanted more books to be published, I just can't get enough of this family.
If you are curious about what I am talking about please visit the kickstarter to get a mini synopsis or buy the book "Ratha's Creature" on Amazon!
It is written by one of our own,
