Edmond Lazlo was a brilliant inventor, but had no head for business. He produced nigh-unbreakable plastics, a car engine that could run all day on only a spoonful of honey or syrup, a popcorn bag that redistributes heat to leave no kernel unpopped (hey, they can't all be life-changers), and so much more. What he never grasped was that big companies are out to make a profit, not products that last - they help themselves, not the common man. So, funded only by the sales of superior popcorn bags, he developed a suit that would allow him to help the world all on his own, firsthand. He became... The Aeronaut!
And even though he's just a character in a comic book, he's Else's favorite superhero. She has every single issue, even crappy PSAs and anthologies of issues she already had, not to mention first-printings of #2 and #3 (she'll get #1 some day, you better believe it). Same with action-figures and the light-up jetpack. And all of the people she's had a crush on have been canines, while the Aeronaut is a wolf. Coincidence?
All characters (the Aeronaut) belong to me, Masterful.
