Feeling a bit sentimental I worked this up quickly...I can see all the blaring mistakes and problems but I like the poses and feeling.

The male is my Kangaroo character 'Red' Nyvern before he turned rogue and joined pirates. I'm working on a bit of a backstory but I'll give you a vague idea...

He is an Australian native that is forced to join the navy and quickly becomes high in status. The lovely lady is his kangaroo wife whom follows him due to her love for Red but she yearns for her homeland. She is seen as common by the court but still attends functions in defiance. When the monarchy forcibly takes her people's land (an action of which Nyvern is unaware) she is killed along with most of her family and many of Nyvern's native friends.

Upon death of his love, Nyvern goes rebel and joins a band of pirates to kill every enemy that he can. A sad story...as always with me.

I'll colour this at some point, or perhaps do a better revised version when I can to fix problems.
