That baby bunny is probably the single best thing I've ever drawn imo. Also every time I draw Frost's antlers, I feel a pang of anguish for every animator who ever had to work on Bambi.
And for the curious who have asked why people don't see a floating broom and dustpan or the disappearing fragments of Frost's mug - the invisibility is more of a glamour affecting how people see - he's physically there but their eyes glance over him, don't take him in, filter him out, invent plausible reasoning for what the mind can't explain. Someone else called this a 'perception filter', which is an apt word for it.

To "believe" an archaic opinion that two guys aren't allowed to show affection or love each other or anything else is basically saying that you believe they're less than people who don't deserve any happiness. To show true humanity is to show better acceptance of your fellow man and his or her pursuits of happiness and love in each other regardless.
If that's the case then you should have no problems with this comic provided it doesn't turn sexual. However, if you don't like public displays of affection in general, especially in comics and drawn artwork, I bet then you wouldn't mind removing such kinds of submissions from your gallery and favorites.
I want to be mean for a moment then by asking, why even comment? You appeared to want your paraphrased "eww, gays" statement to be heard/seen, which in and of itself these days is distasteful and frowned upon. I mean, look at the fandom you're in. Plus it's 2013. Next time you see something like that, click through quietly and resist the urge to click reply on it. Given how much homoerotic stuff Demi does post, I don't see how you couldn't notice until now. Not unless you have tunnel vision that severe.
However, I were you, I'd stick with it. If it turns sexual, time to steer clear and quietly go away. Otherwise she has what looks to be a good story to tell. To be honest if there's a sex scene involved I'll be pretty disappointed because comics with sex is boring. It's overdone. It adds nothing to the story and is never there for anything else other than "fan service". I want to see an exciting plot and I'd hope you would, too, and look past any hints of gay affection and, of course, keep quiet about it in the future.

Naw, there's sort of a glamour about the invisibility (meaning inanimate objects like his clothes and things he picks up go invisible too in a way). Think of it more like this: he's not physically invisible so much as people's eyes refuse to acknowledge that he's there. Like when mum leaves a bakset of laundry right in front of your bedroom to get your attention but your mind just filters it out and you step over it XP
They're really really common in a lot of fantasy novels I read, so I didn't think it was really that, er, selective. I watch Doctor Who but can't remember this perception filter but I assume it had a lot of use for it and I just accepted it all XP Mostly I've read stories about fey/mythic creatures even vampires who have the ability to use a glamour to some limited extent.
Yay for going back to old submissions to look at the posts!! This bit about perception filters is also explained early on in a shoot off series of Dr Who following Captain Jack Harknas in the series called Torchwood. Mind you if you want to watch it and find the episodes aired on BBC, or whatever the channel here in america is that doesn't sensor shows, it has some erotic moments kind of like this commic. :3
Not sure the Silence is hidden that way. You don't ignore them you forget them once you look away. The Doctor modified the Tardis key in "Last of the TimeLords" and "Sound of the Drums". It ties over to Torchwood as where the Tardis parked in "Boom Town" generated the perception filter on thier elevator entrance
I wouldn't be surprised if, for the same reason bystanders don't see the broom or the remnants of the mug, as soon as the unicorn gets that close to someone, that someone is likely to be glossed over by everyone nearby. Basically, anything in his personal space is "to be ignored."
Would make sense to me, at least; dunno how extensive it actually is.

I wanna make a silly joke about a homo invisible unicorn and all the possibilities for how awesome that would be in a locker room!
But insted I will comment on how awesome your story seems to be! I am so getting myself in this! This looks perfect! Any chance you are printing it when u have it finished?

Hey, I'm seriously intrigued by your storytelling gifts - you're weaving a gripping plot here. and the art is just incredible. I admit to an affection for deer, and you've got real talent for faces and antlers [although the unicorn's a bit "My Little Pony - who cares?!] Such intricacy and diversity of color backgrounds, man, you know how to weave a mood... The baby's not only cute but adds to the sense of both fun and foreboding. Who cares where the carnality goes, it just adds to the energ, vibrancy and twists of the narration? Except, of course, Furafinity will "you arre not allowed to see this" on us if genitalia are depicted [puritan twerps...].Please add "cervine" yo your Keywords...
Not too get nitpicky, but if I understand how his magic works, it seems like his glamor would have to envelope Frost to a certain extent in order to maintain its effectiveness here. If people noticed Frost talking to himself that would draw their attention and their scrutiny. If everyone is staring in his direction, trying to figure out who Frost is talking to, then some people might no longer be able to ignore the unicorn in the room. Seems like a really air tight glamor would cause the other patrons to not notice Frost talking, or to assume that he is talking to someone but that the other person isn't noteworthy enough to take notice of.
Just a thought!
Just a thought!
The glamour doesn't need to extend to Frost. People are already willing to accept that someone who talks to themselves is either really eccentric or batshit insane. No one's going to assume he's talking to an invisible person. The only way the glamour might extend to Frost is if Ciel were to exert enough force on him that there could be no explanation otherwise (say, if Ciel were to pick Frost up and carry him out the door, THEN the glamour might kick in, but only if absolutely necessary to disguise Ciel...) This is more fun anyway.
I agree that embarrassing Frost is fun. But if you'll allow me to extend the thought experiment a bit I can elaborate. The glamor works by magically convincing people to "glance over" or "filter out" Ciel so that he hides in plain sight, yes? In that case, I would think that anything that draws an unusual amount of attention toward Ciel would put some strain on the glamor. Of course no one would assume that Frost is talking to an invisible person, and that's the problem -- there's a moment, right before people decide Frost is crazy, when they are actively scanning the space next to him to find out who he's talking to, and in that moment the glamor has to once again say to everyone, "No, nothing to see here, move along!" Which it evidently did well enough (everyone failed their will save... D&D jokes, anyone?) But it seems like there's a chance, however small, that Ciel could have been revealed to a perceptive enough person in a situation like that. Or, what if the same person had their attention drawn toward Ciel three or four times?
I'm enjoying the comic, just having some fun thinking about the magic mechanics (and storytelling possibilities if you ever wanted Ciel to get revealed!)
Anyway, looking forward to the next page!

It's an interesting concept to expand on, I agree, but that's just not how it works in this particular story. There's only a particular type of person who can see him. As Ciel said, only Frost and the baby can see him, so obviously the glamour works perfectly on its intended audience but not those specific types that are allowed to see him.
Going off of an earlier comment, since only virgins are able to see Ciel, is the ring Frost has in an earlier page so he can still see Ciel despite no longer being a virgin?
Or perhaps it is instead the source of the perception filter? Seems to be the same ring Ciel is wearing here.

I was getting right into this comic...and then this...
No, I don't have a problem at all with male x male stuff at all. But people do NOT come onto other people that quickly IRL. Maybe furries do. I dunno.
It just really put me off this comic, please don't take this the wrong way since the artwork is beautiful and the story does sound interesting, but now it just sounds like a typical lame furry story :(
