Thanks to Sailor Anna for this great picture of CD's pint sized superfur, the Crimson Cur!
Here are her vital stats:
Name: Ji-Lin Hue (a.k.a. Crimson Cur)
Species: Canine (Bermese Mountain Dog)
Height: 4' 11"
Weight: 98 lbs.
Age: 19
Occupation: Student at Union University in Colmaton, California
Weapons: None
Powers: Super speed, can move at the speed of light (even faster if she pushes it). Her body's motabolism is also super fast, which makes her heal quickly from injuries and makes her mind work faster than even the most powerful computers.
Weaknesses: She is still an inexperienced apprentice registered superhero that often makes mistakes and has to follow the rules set by her superiors in the agency. Although she can move super fast, she is not super strong or super durable, having the same basic frailities as any normal furson. She also has a tendency to speak fast and talk non-stop for long periods of time which annoys everyone, villians and friends alike.
History: Ji-Lin Hue is the daughter of a first generation Vietnamese-American family living in San Francisco. Always an excellent student, the rather nerdy looking Ji-Lin graduated at the top of her High School class and looked forward to a bright future. However, during her graduation party, her Uncle Theiu got his trusting young niece alone in her room and raped her, forcing her to surrender to his dark lusts by threatening to kill her parents if she didn't comply. The rape left Ji-Lin a shattered teenager. Knowing that rape is usually considered the victim's fault in traditional Asian culture, her parents did their best to keep the incident a secret. However, in such a tight knit ethnic community, few things can remain a secret for long. Soon, Ji-Lin noticed how her friends and other relatives shunned her, refusing to look her in the eye or even speak to her. Her cultural shame also affected her parents, who also became social outcasts in the Vietnamese-American community of San Francisco.
To protect her and themselves from further humiliation, Ji-Lin's parents privately sent her away to Union University in Colmaton. To combat her internal shame and sadness, Ji-Lin buried herself in her university studies. She worked long evenings in the science labs on many different projects. One faithful evening six months after her high school graduation, an electrical short caused the labratory to explode, drenching the petite Bermese Mountain Dog in a strange mixture of chemicals that were quickly absorbed into her body. These
chemicals changed her entire atomic structure, giving her amazing super speed.
When the American Department of Superheroes discovered her superpowers, they recruited her into their organization. Skeptical of her abilities at first, Ji-Lin proved she was both mentally and physically able to perform as a registered superhero. The agency also realized
that her private life as a college student was a perfect secret idenity. She performed impressively in her first major assignment (Read "The Salesman Always Rings Twice") when she teamed up with Super Collie, Lady Liberty, Multi-Mutt and Giant Girl to stop a nuclear dirty bomb attack on Colmaton. Ever since then the speedy heroine has befriended many of the city's unregistered superfurs such as Lady Liberty, Brown Lotus and Dame Freedom. She is careful not to become too closely associated with them since one of her main assignments in Colmaton is to capture and unmask unregistered superfurs, but she has far too much respect for the good work they all do to ever betray them.
Personality: As Ji-Lin Hue, she is rather shy, timid, but still very talkative. As Crimson Cur, she is excitable, enthusiastic and bubbly. She understands that her great powers also give her great responsibilities. Due to her uncle's sexual assault, she is very nervous
around males (although she briefly had a crush on superhero Shadowblade, until she realized he was already in a relationship with Brown Lotus). Her boundless energy makes her seem immature at times, but she is an adult through and through. Her biggest pet peeve is how others misjudge her due to her small size and almost pre-teen looks.

Soooo, this is the famous Crimson Cur of so many stories. What freaks me out is how similar this pic looks to how I pictured her (save for costume differances, but that's to be expected)
Been reading many a story involving this lass, and I got to say she is simply adorable, and I'm not talking about looks, I speak of her entire demanor and attitude. Its just tragic knowing she had to endure such things in her life.
Either way, nicely done bio.
