This piece has been in the works since last month, and I'm really proud of the results. Originally I had planned to have my furry self on one side of the image, and then reflected would have been my human self. The music was going to be connecting them together as my human form was going to be listening to music and drawing (the furry form probably) but as I finished this half of the picture I decided that I just wanted to finish it like this,
As part of his backstory, one of the special techniques Blitz has is activated by song. A lot of his magic is lyrical based. I'm not sure if all spells have this effect, but this specific one's music is visible and causes Blitz to glow.
(If anyone can guess the song I'll give you a cookie or something lol)
I'm really proud of my shading and the glow effects here. I suppose if everything was glowing my shading would be irrelevant, but I like to think that other (brighter) light sources would still cause shading in certain areas

You can't eat them! What else will I sing if they have big Liodor bite marks in them! *giggles* But thanks buddy! I'm glad you like it. You're like the master of the glowing effect so knowing you approve of my attempt at it is really awesome~ maybe I can make some special candy flavored ones for you >w<
I understand the artistic purposes here, but your E major key signature is in the wrong clef and its just glaring at me because music theory is a big jerk that doesn't want me to appreciate life. <_>
But other than that, and a couple minor anatomy issues, this is pretty neat. The colours are just so vibrant. ouo

I figured you'd notice I didn't transpose things when i fucked with the Clef. The music I had to work with is in Treble and just changed things over without caring to much. (like you said for lazy artistic purposes) I could probably redo that without too much problem if you wanted to show me the proper way to write that music in the Bass Clef. X3 I'll just move some layers and it should be easy
And yeah I'm going to try and study up on my anatomy. The pose was done mostly from my head using a few photos of myself for the legs. I'm assuming you're partially talking about the right? Yeah that was so fucked up when I scanned the original I just didn't feel like changing it. owo I tried to go for super vibrant colors, but that made shading so difficult XD I think it was worth it though. I know a lot of artists say to steer clear of vibrant unnatural colors, but those are always my favorite to work with! <3
