Well, here we go. No doubt many of my watchers have seen the related journal concerning this set of sketches. The first lot aren't the different from anything else I do (and many would probably think the same of the later sketches) so I'm cool with posting it up.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid or something =p

Anyways, on to the pic.

For those that don't know, at the start of the year I set myself the task of picking one of my characters and drawing them constantly for 7 days, drawing at least a page of sketches each day (something I did with Fran last year).
This is day 1 in the set of sketches. As it features Leilani, my other fan service character, most of the sketches tend to be of that nature. The whole point, though, was to get a solid idea in my head of how to draw the character and work out their proportions and personality.

This are all pretty mild as far as things go. It was the first day and I couldn't really think of anything to draw. Hey, it was New Year's Day. That's an excuse in my book. Anyway, these sketches are cool and all, but not once did I get her face looking the same between sketches.

FYI, Leilani is half black-half hawaiian, hence the name. Though I have little idea how to actually draw that. ^^'
