Well, my F-150 is in need of some work, since I got her, all the little issues began to come out to say hello. Now this is why I got this new truck, meet my new F-250, circa 1986, and also an old wildfire tank truck from Cutler Kansas Township FD. She has a 460 cube V8, 4X4 no rust, and less than 100,000 miles, she will help me to have the time to overhaul my F-150. Then I will be doing a bit of work with the new family member, and have two really sweet looking pickups. Oh yeah, the lettering on the doors from the FD. will be refreshed, looks complete with it

OBDII Computers are nice man, they'll point you to the system that's having trouble. You just have to have a $25 scan tool to see what they throw when there's a problem. OBD1 on the other hand is a fucking horrible system.
You /want/ carbed? Fuel injection is way better; they're not temperamental [unless it's tbi], you never have to tune it, you get more power, better economy, and it doesn't choke and gag on hillclimbs/descents.

yeah, well I ended up spending so much on the fire truck, and it was still giving me more to work on, in the end, I had over $2,500 in repairs, and replaced water pump, timing cover, radiator, hoses, full fuel system, and even did all the general maintenance, and it developed a mysterious massive oil leak, so I sold it. And I mean massive, over a gallon of oil a week.
