The first pic for a tmnt calendar challenge on tumblr, today's theme was "Snowing".
"It wasn't actually the first time the turtles saw snow. He remembered just like it was yesterday...
Four little baby mutant turtles were sleeping, covered with a quilt. The gapped-tooth one sneezed, waking up the others. Something cold touched his nose. The sea green one saw something white falling from the sky.
"What is dat?" he asked innocently.
The giant rat smiled. "It's snow, my sons. It's winter season."
As he placed the two older turtles on his lap, the younger turtles climbed his kimono to take a closer look on that "snow".
It wasn't long before they were all snuggling on his lap, as Splinter chanted a japanese lullaby (that same one that he would teach Donatello in the future)".
