-Tunnelers are huge carapace covered creatures who share many traits with bobbit worms, roaches and moles
-They have no visible eyes but have three different senses of taste and smell.
-Have no lower mandible jaw, face splits vertically open to consume larger prey
-digests their food OUTSIDE of their body, using their highly toned toxic spit to turn bones, flesh, feathers, etc, into a gelatinous mold it can easily pile into its mouth.
-Uses same spit to dig its home caves, their home planet is literally filled with a tunnel network system.
-Much like an ant, able to lift several times its body weight.
-When asleep it wont move, can remain asleep for several months to save its own life. The carapace covering their flesh is immune to most sharp objects.
-They will follow the noises of things walking above ground like a trapdoor spider, and for some odd reason when not hungry enjoy scaring the heart out of visiting two leggers by following them for some time. Nothing but their own boredom will drive them off.
