Whoops - looks like I double-posted the previous Cap Iceland strip. I'm not too sorry - I like the lil bugger. But now, here's a never before seen here one, I'm sure. Problem with computers, they're strictly logical. Machine logic, even, so they can't be reasoned with.

I work on them for a living my friend. I can tell you the best repair for a computer that just wont work is to do what I did. Remove it from the desk, toss it off your front porch and fire at least 5 rounds or what ever your gun holds in it. No it does not correct the problem but it makes you feel better.
The reason why I want to be an interface designer is because I enjoy doing mundane things. Programmers like to do cool stuff and don't have time or the interest to focus on niggling usability issues.
Frankly, I find it amazing that anything works at all. Millions of lines of code, and it all has to be perfect? Wow.

From my experience of computers, they are designed to do tons of complecated things (yet cant half the time) but when it comes to the simple things, it cant cope.
Got to love it when computer experts dont know whats wrong with a computer yet a friend of a friend finds out the problem and solves it in seconds, true story in my case.
