It’s Valentine’s Day in Biloxi, and the Montana Howlers are in town for a game against the Voodoo. Rookie Howler Simon Thal (Aurochs, C) has been waiting for this game for months, and after the final horn he boldly sets his plan into motion. Of course, you know what they say about best laid plans.
This story is set in the FBA universe, a collaborative project helmed by the inimitable Buck Hopper and built by contributions from countless others.
Contains no sex and no death (aside from a few unfortunate daisies), so there’s probably not much here to interest my regular audience. You can still read it anyway, if you’d like.

Thank you! :) I wasn't sure if anyone was even paying attention back then.
The Kinto character doesn't really fit into the FBA universe (or at least not in this role), so I repurposed an old one I had lying in storage. Corker borrows heavily from a character I used in a series of bizarre nonsensical scenes I wrote in high school. He has a first name, but he never uses it, and always wears loud Hawaiian shirts, the louder the better. And I see you've already followed up on that; I love being an inspiration.

it's a great theory. my personal character pac has no canon, so i don't like tying her down to any system, and like you didn't feel that she would be a fit for the FBA universe anyway. to designate an original character for that position seems best, and i think you've done a great job incorporating that aspect into your stories. you have some of my favorite FBA writings, and i hope you do more :)
