Of all the spectacularly ridiculous cartoon movies DC has made, All-Star Superman is almost certainly one of the dumbest. It contains, in no particular order:
-A pair of super bullies kicking Superman out of his house
-Metallo (the robot) lifting weights
-Something referred to as the "Ultrasphinx"
-SUPERMAN'S PET SUN-EATING BABY CTHULHU
-And of course, THIS scene, presented completely seriously

All Star Superman! I actually liked that movie, of course I have no expectations of seriousness in comic books.
But the reason the story is so clunky is because they had the brilliant idea of taking 12 comic books with each of those stories separated and condensing it into a 60 minute movie.
