Now this can be made with regular mash or instant but either way I've actually tried this one out and it really does taste nice. I enjoyed it the next day on toast too.
So from the kitchens of
16weeks comes a lovely lucky irish dish.
Yeah. i got this recipe from my mom. it's really good.
Here we go!
1 Medium head of cabbage.
instant potato puffs (sorry about this one, i can't make real mashed potatos from scratch to save my life....I suck...)
1/2 cup of thinly chopped green onions.
1/8 tsp. black pepper.
to prepare cabbage:
remove discolored leaves, use the rest,
shread the useable leaves
boil up 1/2 inch of salted water,
( 1/2 tsp salt to 1 cup of water,)
Add Cabb-AHge and cover and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
main potatos 'n stuff.
Prepair potatos as directed on the package for 8 servings
add the pepper (as much or as little as you want.)
fold in the hot cabbage.
add the green onions. stir 'em in good.
enjoy!
