This was done for a friend from Second Life and his two furries: Quigglysnert the mole and Duhbum the bat. Toying around with ideas for a mole character, I recalled the old Disney package film The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad...
which in turn made me think of the former Disney World ride "Mr Toad's Wild Ride"...

which in turn make me think of pastoral, Edwardian/1900's England, as well as cars...

and then I just randomly stuck some hot rods and muscle cars in there somewhere... (no I doesn't make sense, this is how my brain works) and played on the contrast of those ideas that are expressed in the colors used... the "pastoral" part is given earthy sepia tones while the "hot rod" part is left with it's bright colors.

As you can see, I'm in there of couse apparently about to drag and kick their ass in my 'Cuda though I look a little overly "proper" over the whole thing... almost wanted to draw some Grey Poupon somewhere in there.

Also Dubum the bat is so freaking cute in a Tam o'shanter...

Also, I get to wear a derby, derbies win.
