A Big Bad Wolf Gets His Just Desserts (Part 6)
[[ This is part 6 of the series. It doesn't stand alone. Please read the prior parts first. ]]
The bet is on, and the first course arrives. Molly is a surprising cook, but there are even more surprises in the growing relationship between a preditor and a pretty farm lass.
(Story contains conversations between furry and human, long loving descriptions of various foods, growing affections, and gluttony - lots and lots of gluttony!)

Thank you, Striker! *hugs* It's nice to be back and have time for posting, etc. Over the holiday, Wuff's muse not only 'struck', but she brought along friends and they caught wuffy out for a walk, dragged him behind a corner bookstore, and mugged Vargr! *giggles* The didn't use clubs, chains, and pipes; they employed Thesarus and Dictionaries (Oxford un-abridged!).
As a result of this 'enforced inspiration', wuffy actually managed to finish this story! And make a huge start on another, added lots of words to several others in work, etc. Vargr is in the process of going through and doing multiple reviews and edits on this one, to get it into something approximating 'public viewable' state. More chapters will be arriving (hopefully steadily) over the course of the next weeks.

Wolf has certainly come a long way from the hollow-bellied, desperate critter that broke into Molly's farm house. And he's going to get much, much bigger before things are done. You think he's big now? Wait until another half-dozen chapters go by! *giggles*
The relationship that's growing so well surprised Vargr too! The original story was supposed to be a rather simple and shallow inflation/force-feeding fetish piece; just a bit of text to cater to a desire for a yiffy fantasy based loosely off of some old fairy tales. The plot was very straight forward then, easily expressed in a few sentences: Wolf is a desperate, insatiable, greedy criminal. Wolf attacks sweet lady victim, hoping to eat her a la three-pigs and riding hood style. Victim outsmarts Wolf; intends to feed him until he’s so full he can’t eat her. Wolf is so greedy, keeps demanding more and more food to spare victim’s life; he finally eats until he explodes. “Victim” ends up victor with new wolf-fur coat.
The next thing Vargr knew, Molly and Wolf were beginning to have feelings for one another! Molly’s initial “victim/do anything to survive attitude“suddenly began showing sympathy for the “poor creature”, which began evolving to appreciation and respect, and then to affection, and who knows what next? And Wolf? He hasn’t seen Molly as a “snack” for quite a few paragraphs now.
Just where did all that come from? *blinks* Vargr certainly didn’t intend to go down those paths when he started writing! Here is yet another instance of the characters seizing the reins of the story from wuffy’s paws and spurring it onward in totally unexpected directions.
Not that Vargr’s complaining! Many of wuffy’s best stories occur when this happens (at least in this wuff’s opinion). For instance; Vinyl Gryphon, ‘Ware Were, Bearding the Dragon, Inflatable Sword, To Soar, etc. A story Vargr is currently working on (Wolf on Patrol) is a prime example of this; it was supposed to be a very short summary that might be useful for a commission from someone who does expansion-related art storyboard/comics (like Duo Radon). Instead, it’s up to over 40 pages and counting! *shakes his fluffy head*
Wuffy wonders how many other authors have situations like this? Do their characters become so lifelike that they begin to take their own actions? *grins* Still, it entertains wuff when it happens, so guess it’s a good thing.

A novel! Congratulations! *hugs* This wuff has never considered writing anything so ambitious. Most of Vargr’s ideas seem to run out somewhere in the short-story length area. Vinyl Gryphon might have enough potential for going beyond that, perhaps. But that’s hard to say.

*Chuckles* After the initial start (facing down that first blank page and setting pencil to paper, or the digital equivilent, is often a very daunting task), persistant production is the hardest writing skills to master. This story is a rather epic illustration of that! *giggles* Look how many years it took wuff to finish this after posting the first chapter (on another site) so long ago!

I enjoy the sense of salvation these stories bring: The idea that the wolf is ALWAYS bad and that the humans are ALWAYS good gets pretty boring, especially to furries. This series shows that there's always more than meets the eye, especially in hungry wolves.
Plus, bonus points for growing wuffies.
It's good to see that your muse isn't silent (though a Violent muse is a scary thing...), and that you're keeping up with your craft! Vargr does like to turn the 'typical' story stereotypes on their collective ear, as it were. As wuffy did with “Bearding the Dragon”, which re-examines the roles of knight-adventurer and dragon in the course of hunting a dragon to its den to plunder its treasures. Of course, in furry literature, the roll reversal of good dragon/bad knight, or even the ‘happy ending’ versions where both hit it off, are a lot more commonplace than elsewhere.
Still, this wuff wouldn’t want to get too predictable. *grins* Might have to actually use a stereotype or two and keep ‘em that way throughout the story, just to keep wuff’s readers guessing about when the twist would come – only to twist the twist and not provide one. *chuckles*
As to violent muses – yes indeed! They can be quite scary! Vargr found himself in front of the computer at 3AM still typing away one night over the holiday. Because he just HAD to get the rest of the thought down, and then the next after that, and the next. Didn’t want to hit the sack for fear of losing a train of thought that was barreling down the tracks in a rather exciting fashion, entertaining wuffy about just what was liable to happen next! *grins* And muses whispering in both of wuffy’s ears as his poor paws pattered away at the keys, “and then”, “and then”, “and then”, with more and more ideas that wuff was struggling to keep up with through his limited typing speed.
Ended up with over 40 pages in a story typed that day. Looks like it’s about 4/5’s of the way finished; a sword & sorcery saga of a much younger and more impulsive Vargr out on the circuit patrol of a new wilderness kingdom, back in his Adventurer days. Hopefully wuffy can have that one completed soon, and begin posting ‘installments’ of it (seems more likely to get a read that way than by slapping down such a huge story and asking wuff’s readers to try to digest it all at one sitting).
As for Inflatable Sword 2 – Yes! There will definitely be a second! Though, considering the very frisky and naughty thoughts running through this wuff’s imagination, especially of the scene that follows directly after the conclusion of IS#1, it will certainly end up with more than a PG rating when it shows up. Not that such is a bad thing, but it might limit readership a little.

I Absolutely Love This Story! I am a fan of Romance and Weight Gain, so this story is great for me, I am glad I came across it while you came up with the finish, because I would not be able to handle waiting for the continuation of such an ingenious peice of weight gain literature!
on the other hand, how on earth did a story of this greatness escape me for so long? I can't wait to read more of this magnificent work of art!

Don't berate yourself too much for missing this series. It's been sitting fallow for over a year now. And with the loss of FA's search capacity, how were you to know it was hiding in the archives out there somewhere. But at least you've discovered it now, and with that you'll have the benefit of seeing it come to a conclusion before you pull your headfur out waiting for the next chapter to show up. *grins*
As for stories with a romantic element, you might want to check out the following of wuff's tales:

The Inflatable Sword; Two roommates explore the abilities of a strange sword-like object one finds.
Strong inflation fetish elements, and true friendship/affection between a dargonwolf and a lion roommates.
Many of wuff's other stories have strong emotional elements, but those are probably closest to BBW for the combination of inflation and bonding. *smiles*

Odd, I used the same software to create this as all the others. Just extracted this chapter from the main story and ran it thru PDF creator, just like the other chapters.
Perhaps FA was having a 'glitch' at the time? Perhaps trying it again will work. You might also want to try right-clicking on the "download" option, then choose "Save target as..." from the popup menu. Save the file to your computer and then try opening the file from there. Sometimes the PDF reader interface to your browser can get confused as well. Opening it directly from your machine bypasses the extra layers of interface and can make it work more smoothly.
