Damn this sure was a great lesson in drawing plants. x_x I'm sorry you had to wait so long...I've been thinking a lot about this drawing and I just didn't know where to start..:/ I hope you like it though!
Also is this piece too much saturated? I made it on my boyfriend's laptop and when i looked at in on another computer it was too bright.. :'(

I've been waiting for this to be finished, when I saw your wip I was like Oh my god this is going to be awesome! I was right it looks wonderfull. all those flowers I see lupine, fingerhoedskruid, rozen, lelietjes van dalen (wat prachtige plantjes zijn) and from those flowers which I can't get to it's real name. but you've put many sorts of beautiful flowers in your drawing, do you also have a mother who has a passion for her garden, with a lot of flowers. I really admire the way you've drawn the ground it looks so real and touching.
Thaaanks! Haha there are a lot of fantasy flowers in there as well. :) But the flowers you just names, were also in our garden. My mom has a very beautiful garden which is very crowded (well not now, it's dead now :P) But yeah it inspired me to draw it like this too. :) The Ground is done with a phototexture, and I drew a bit over it.
I really think the colors work for it a lot more than you think ;). It is saturated but it plays more on the happiness of the piece and serenity that comes from being in the secret garden. It is lovely, have done a jungle piece and plants are a massive pain but you pulled them off lovely :).
