So, for the heck of it, I decided to look up the last time I drew this character in my files, and post a comparison. I would have been either a junior or a senior in high school when I drew the piece in purple, depending on the time of year. This very much puts in perspective for me how far I've come artistically in that time... and how far I haven't.

Art is a journey, not a destination. Maybe in another decade or so, I'll do another update and see what I've learned in the interim. =)
