These are new hoof-boots built on heel-less shoes :D Unfortunatly dont know what Im doing yet for the cloven hoof at the front as resin casts from America = epic shipping prices, so I may knock some together this weekend if I can find a sturdy/solid material :)

you could also try using scraps of those plastic rainwater tubings. you can shape them with heat, shoemaker's putty, and whatnot, and they would be lightweight and clop like hooves, too. and if you make the shells movable you will be less likely to get caught in some obstruction.
aside that, nicely done so far. how is it to walk in those shoes?

glad to be of service. if needed I can try and see how a german fursuiter made her own hooves for a LARP suit of a goat girl. :)
interesting. :) I remember Mel C. trying to walk and especially, stand in a pair of those a couple yeras ago at some award nonsense, and she had huge problems. probbaly because she was standing still... a wee bit later some german TV magazine bought a pair and had randopm ladies off the street try them out. walking, talking, even running for the bus was obviously possible without accident. :)
hmm, I'll try them out myself should opportunity arise. and yes, hooves are awesome. <3
