I bet it's a Dragon-type. It has almost the same colour scheme as Milotic, a sea dragon thing, the bows look exactly like how scales are drawn in the games, and Dragon is the last remaining Special type.

That's actually good reasoning. Especially because it would fill in the last special.

I'm almost positive that it will be a flying type pokemon, with the stats and the charts of eevee's evolutions, that's what it points to. Unless of course, they are coming up with a couple new types as well.

Eeeh, i hope they don't have any new types. Folks have been screaming light type since gen 3, but that would throw off the perfect type chart i have in my head.

I don't think it'll be "light" type though. The sites that scream "ITS BEEN CONFIRMED!!" are really unreliable as resources.

Every time I see this pokemon it makes me guess either flying (cause of the ribbons and it don't mean it have to fly cause not all flying types can fly) bug (cause in certain angles the bows looks like butterflies) or dragon (cause just a random hunch) sadly I'm 100% sure that it's not a normal type as that spot has already taken and that's Eevee itself.

I am aware that there's a rumor of a new element which is "light" or "Holy" (90% guess it's light since dark can't be called demonic in the games or amine) but part of me think that it may never happen and just be one of the type that already exists in the series but I won't be surprised if I'm proved wrong on that part.

But in the end no matter what type it is I still think it's a nice looking pokemon but I'm still not sure if I'll get the new pokemon game or not since not only I want to know what all of them on the 6th Gen looks like first but also if I like the 6th gen or not.

Just because eevee is normal doesn't mean it can't evolve into a normal.
I'm also 100% sure that there is no light type, but I only say this because people say there will be a light type since gen 3, and there never has been. Dark already has it's main counter, and that's fighting type. Adding a light type to the type chart would simply make dark unviable as a type, as most dark types are dual typed so they have enough trouble on their hands.

You have a point there besides they've ran out of ideas on the Types since 2nd Gen and on the pokemon designs since the 3rd Gen even though they kept on going with them including new moves we've never heard of before back then.
Some of the pokemon on the 3rd, 4th and 5th Gens are alright in my taste but still not sure how the rest of the 6th Gen would be to my liking.

I think the only reason they added steel and dark was for the sake of adding things resist psychic. In gen 1, it was only bug/ghost type moves, and the ghost and bug types were either part poison, or just completely unviable for use. It added a little more balance so that psychic wasn't the top of the food chain anymore. Making dark and steel weak to fighting types made fighting types MORE useful, rather than just being the punching bag to everything but normal. It wasn't really about ideas, since I'm sure light(aka holy) has been mentioned more than once. It's more that they just don't need any new types. If they were to add more types, it would just be a gimmick, rather than the steel and dark types which were added for balance.

True but steel can still take small damage from psychic but resist poison moves as far as I can remember and they made bug strong against psychic and dark types which is odd to me to be honest but I've lived with it so it's no big deal for me.

I only mentioned about the ideas bit cause sis mentioned how they ran out of ideas since the 3rd gen of course partly true but that dosn't stop me from finding out myself if I should try it or not in the end dispite a few people bitch about Eevee's new form on this gen like "why would it need another form?!? THAT'S/IT'S STUPID!!" and whatnot.

However, i don't take too kindly to people who take it upon themselves to try and ruin the fun of others by complaining about things that make others happy. If she hates pokemon now, then the best bet is to move on to something that she hates less. :3
When it comes down to it, eevee is a gimmick pokemon. People always beg for more eevees. By adding more, they are simply giving the fans what they want.

lol well it's not like she hates pokemon entirely just the ones she dosn't like the look of like the ice cream pokemon and trubbish she hates those but she loves eevees especially the shiny ones she likes a few of the eeveelutions too but dosn't really care if they add a new one or not.

Voltorb(a ball), muk(diarrhea), mr.mime(A MIME POKEMON!?) jynx(need I go on?). They were going for the abstract from day one- still don't know how folks consider gen one to be the absolute end all be all. I'm certain if they didn't keep making more generations, the whole franchise would be dead by now. Nostalgia is fun, but it's no bible, and I'm certain that everyone can find something they love or hate about each gen.

Light type isn't going to happen. People have been calling it "confirmed" as a new type since gen 3 was announce.
Outside of that, we have plenty of attacks that already represent light eg. solarbeam(grass) sunnyday(fire)
Dark and steel were new types that were introduced for the sake of balancing overpowered psychic type, as well as add usefulness to fighting types. There is no need for any new types.

My instincts tell me that this eeveelution will be a normal type evolved by winning contests and earning contest ribbons.
