My entry for a Deviantart AVA Tournament contest by Desuroo. The theme was "Emotional Phrases", and I was assigned to "Message in a Bottle".
There's lots of different ways to interpret the phrase, because of the ambiguity of the word "message". It could be a general note, a word of warning, an SOS, a love note, or it could not even be literal- not an actual slip of paper, but such as a moral, within the bottle's contents.
I decided to make this. These two are among my favorite Pokemon as well! <3 Milotic discovers a bottle containing a "message" from Samiya... I wonder what it could mean?
